Quinta da Rā, Luz de Tavira - The Villa
The villa is built in Moorish style, around an inner courtyard garden, has wooden vaulted ceilings and many traditional features. It is equipped to the highest standard throughout.
There are 3 large bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people, 2 double and 1 twin, all have luxury en-suite facilities and large fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom is located in its own wing of the house and has French windows leading to a shady cobbled patio.
The kitchen has a cooker, hob, American fridge freezer with automatic ice/water dispenser, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. An adjacent breakfasting area features a lovely Italian woodburning range. There is a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing facilities and luggage storage area.
The dining area and lounge are on open plan with the kitchen. French windows open onto a shady terrace with comfortable chairs and dining table. Inside, the large dining table seats 8 and converts to a pool table. The lounge has leather sofas, satellite TV (with UK Free-to-Air channels), DVD/CD player and large feature fireplace. A huge bright entrance hall with sofa, table and music player provides a useful second lounge area.
The central courtyard has tropical plants and a small fountain – it is a lovely green space to sit and enjoy your morning coffee.
High vaulted wooden ceilings, cross ventilation from the interior courtyard and bedroom fans keep the interior pleasant in summer. Underfloor heating and open fires are available in winter.
