The Beaches of the Eastern Algarve have miles of golden sands with warm clear waters and plenty of space for everyone, even in high season.

Quinta da Rā lies just 2km from Pedras d'el Rei where you can either walk or take a miniature train to Barril beach on the Ilha da Tavira. At Santa Luzia, Tavira, Cabanas, Fuzeta and Olhāo you can take ferry trips to many miles of white sandy clean beaches and clear waters. If you prefer, a water taxi will take you to one of the smaller, more secluded Island beaches.

Alternatively, drive 15 minutes eastwards to Manta Rota where you can park directly behind the beach – from there, white sands stretch all the way to the Spanish border. There are many vehicle access points, just explore any of the smaller side roads off the N125 - Praia Verde is, quite rightly, a local favourite.
